                Crush is a Chinese drama that aired on iQiyi in 2021. It tells the story of a woman who falls in love with an arrogant and curt man she meets in the park. It has a Romantic Comedy and Youth genre and the story is light and bright with extraordinary visuals from the cast. Crush is played by handsome and beautiful actors, such as Lin Yanjun (Su Nian Qin "Yi Jin") and Wan Peng (Sang Wu Yan). This drama is adapted from a novel by Mu Fu Sheng (木浮生) entitled "So I Love You Very Much." 

                It starts with Wu Yan, a senior student who dreams of becoming a broadcaster and currently works as an assistant at a radio station. She really likes a mysterious songwriter known as Yi Jin. Later, she sees someone sitting in the park and falls in love at first sight with Nian Qin who turns out to be blind. 

    

                As they get to know each other, Wu Yan discovers that Nian Qin is arrogant and indifferent due to his broken family. Their interaction leads to a romantic relationship, Wu Yan, who enthusiastically melts the heart of the man she adores, manages to get rid of Nian Qin's cold attitude little by little, which then makes them get closer and finally date.

                Wu Yan is very sincere in loving Nian Qin who is still a little arrogant, and becomes an eye of help for Nian Qin. Through this relationship, Wanpeng realizes that Nian Qin is Yi Jin, her favorite songwriter. However, their relationship was not always smooth without problems. 

                There was a problem that caused them to break up and be reunited on a second chance, three years later, when Nian Qin could see with his eyes, and Wu Yan became the broadcaster she dreamed of. Because they met on this second occasion, they re-established a relationship, starting from approaching each other, until they started dating again. 

                This Chinese drama has a happy ending, where Nian Qin is married to Wu Yan, yeah although I think the ending of Drama Crush is a little forced, where in the last few episodes the drama tells about their life after marriage which I believe is 'a little' unimportant I mean like that it would be better if it just ended with their wedding. However, this drama is still highly recommended because the story is cheerful and fun, even though several scenes are touching and make the audience cry when they watch it.

              This story tells about the love struggle of Wu Yan who loves the blind Nian Qin very much, sincerely without considering his disability in his eyes. This story is very light-hearted and suitable to watch when relaxing and healing, it also educates us regarding people with special needs, compassion, life experiences and choices, dreams, etc. Crush has an age rating of 13+, is very popular, and has a rating of 4.9/5 from Google users. 🏫🌻📸🥀💖20th Century Girl: A film that is suitable to watch if you are nostalgic for your past life in the late 90s which was beautiful, warm, and fun.

20th Century Girl (20세기 소녀) is a Korean film that airs on the Netflix platform on October 21, 2022. It is a story about coming-of-age and a fun love triangle set in the late 90s. It was played by Kim Yoo Jung (Na Bora), Byeon Woo Seok (Poong Woonho), and Park Jung Woo (Baek Hyunjin). It starts by showing the friendship between Na Bora and Yeondu, where Yeondu has to leave Korea and go to the US to have heart surgery, and assigns Bora to spy on and find information about the man Yeondu has a crush on, Baek Hyunjin.

Then, Bora started to find out about Hyunjin for the sake of her friend, which then made Bora close to Hyunjin and Woonho, his friend—and started a love triangle. Hyunjin came to like Bora and thought that she liked him because she was always looking for information about him, but it turned out that Bora didn't like him, she actually liked Woonho. Also, it turns out Woonho has also liked her all this time. 

Bora and Woonho became closer and often spent time together. However, this did not last long since Yeondu returned to Korea and said that she had dug up the wrong information about the boy she was crushing on, who turned out to be Woonho. Because of this misunderstanding, makes Bora uncomfortable because she herself already likes Woonho. 

This film is very heartwarming and fun to watch during healing because the story is light and interesting. Tells the story of beautiful school life in 1999, a pleasant story of first love, friendship, and letting go. It is also suitable to watch for people who want to reminisce about their life in the late 90s, besides, the visuals really depict the moment at that time. Welcome to Samdalri is a Korean drama that airs on JTBC Channel at the end of 2023 on December 2, 2023, and ends at the beginning of this year on January 21, 2024. It is a romantic-comedy drama that tells the love story of childhood friends, Cho Samdal (Shin Hye Sun) and Cho Yong-Pil (Ji Chang Wook). Starting from the story of Cho Samdal, a successful photographer in Seoul who suddenly experienced a bullying scandal against her secretly cunning assistant, she returned to Samdalri, her neighborhood with her two sisters.

This requires her to meet with Cho Yong-Pil, her childhood friend and ex again. Besides, Cho Yong-Pil is a weather forecaster at the meteorological office, he was stuck in Samdalri for years instead of going to Seoul to fight for his dream as a weather expert because he wanted to look after Samdal's mother whom he considers his mother figure, whom she works as Hanyeo (Diver), he didn't want to lose anyone he really loves anymore. Furthermore, Cho Samdal and Cho Yong-Pil both actually still like each other even though they have been apart for a long time, but there is a family problem that means they cannot be together.

        Then, a new love story begins when Cho Samdal returns to her neighborhood, of course, their love struggle does not go easily, they experience twists and turns and are full of effort to get back together, such as asking for the blessing of Cho Yong-Pil's father and so on. This story is very interesting and highly recommended since it tells a light, funny, cheerful story, of love in family relationships and friendship, and depicts life in the beautiful seaside village of Jeju Island. 🏫🌳🎥🌼🌻🧡 Get ready to fall in love all over again with Our Beloved Summer!

                Our Beloved Summer is a Romantic-Comedy and Coming-of-Age Korean Drama that airs on the SBS TV channel in 2021-2022. However, we can also watch it streaming via Netflix. This drama is an adaptation from Webtoon with the same title and it is played by famous artists such as Choi Woo Shik as Choi Ung and Kim Dami as Kook Yeonsu as a couple. It also has a second lead Kim Seung Cheol as Kim Ji Ung which will add to the interesting story because there will be a love triangle between them. The thing that makes Our Beloved Summer popular and even more interesting is that one of the soundtracks is performed by Kim Taehyung aka V BTS with his soft and deep voice under the title Christmas Tree.

 

                Tells the story of a love triangle between Choi Ung, Yeon Su, and Ji Ung. This drama is very warm and light to watch because it tells a sweet and fun youth story. Choi Ung and Yeonsu are forced to meet again in the present after their high school documentary film -about the life of two students with different characters- goes viral. Their reunion was very awkward because they had broken up a long time ago and were forced to meet again suddenly. 

             Nowadays, when they have grown up to 29 years old, they are asked to return to work on another documentary film about their current life journey and their profession. However, because they were a former couple, they never got along and were annoyed with each other, even though deep down they still loved each other. One of the people in charge of their documentary is Ji Ung, Choi Ung's childhood friend and loved by Choi Ung's parents like their own son. He has a straightforward and professional attitude towards his work, although he also secretly likes Yeonsu.

                Our Beloved Summer is a very beautiful Korean drama with a light and easy-to-understand storyline, so it is very suitable to watch at any time. However, this drama is not completely perfect because in the middle of the episode it takes a rather slow plot when Yeonsu and Choi Ung seem to like each other again, but because the plot is slow, they don't immediately start dating again. However, after the episode where they got back together, the plot returned to normal and fun. Besides, the conflict is not too complicated and excessive and is still close to problems in life. Additionally, this drama conveys a beautiful message about making peace with the past, forgiving each other, and maturity.

                I really enjoyed this drama because I loved the actor, Choi Woosik who was matched with Kim Dami. Their chemistry is so strong and really shows that they really are like a couple. It's not surprising that their chemistry is so good because they were previously partners in the horror and action drama The Witch: Part 1 in 2018. 

                Because of its popularity, 96% of Google users like this TV show. While I give a rating of 9.5/10 because it is that good and fun.💛

Light Comedy of Deception and Love: The Con-Heartist | A Review

💗🚘💰📝💐Get ready for a rollercoaster ride of laughter and suspense with The Con-Heartist!

            The Con-Heartist is a Thai film with a comedy genre interspersed with a little romance. This film aired on Netflix Indonesia in 2020, starring Baifern Pimchanok as Ina and her co-partner Nadech Kugimiya as Tower. Several supporting actors who joined Ina and Tower's plan also made the story even more hilarious, such as Thiti Mahayotaruk as Petch, Kathaleeya Mclntosh as Mrs. Nongnuch, and Pongsatorn Jongwilas as Jone. Tells the story of Ina, a banker and reviewer on her YouTube channel who was conned over the telephone by Tower, however, Ina did not report him to the police but instead wanted him to help her con Petch, her ex-boyfriend, who in the past used her money.

            Ina, blinded by her love for Petch, was willing to be tricked and taken advantage of by Petch, her ex-boyfriend who was younger than her. Petch, who really needed a 'Sugar Mommy' who could help with his finances, cheated Ina out of 500 Baht. Then, in the present, Ina meets Tower as a victim and fraudster on the telephone. Initially, Ina wanted to report Tower to the police for deceiving her, but after thinking twice she decided to meet after Tower made her an offer to help her get revenge on Petch.

            At that moment, the excitement and humor of their story began, with the help of Mrs. Nongnuch and Jone who helped their con plan succeed. They take advantage of Petch's money-hungry attitude and like women who are older than him (and of course those who can fulfill his needs, such as Sugar Mommy) with Mrs. Nongnuch pretending to be rich and being the Director of the company and tempting Petch into liking her. There is a scene that is very funny and makes you laugh out loud between Ina and Petch, as well as help from Jone who tricked Petch into offering him a high hotel price of 3,000,000 Baht.

        Because of their sudden closeness, Ina's feelings for Tower emerged. However, Ina's innocent attitude contrasts with Tower's clever and brave attitude, making Tower plan to take all of Ina's 500 Baht, if their plan is successful. This makes the story even more interesting and exciting. Tower became doubtful about his feelings for Ina and his ego about having the 500 Baht.

            After finding out about Tower's cunning tricks again to take her money, Ina was sad and heartbroken because she was once again lied to by the man she liked. However, after a second chance, they continued with their plan. The Con-Heartist has several plot twists that make the audience unexpected and make them laugh to themselves.

            The Con-Heartist has a happy ending, where their plan succeeds in deceiving Petch and making his career fail, and Tower, who turned into a good and successful person, becomes brave enough to express his feelings to Ina. This film is very good and funny. It's very suitable to watch together at any time, especially just to pass the time, because the comedy story is very light and full of unexpected scenes that make us laugh continuously while the film is playing. Even though there are a few scenes that are a bit disgusting, that's not a problem because we will focus on the comedy scenes. So, it is highly recommended and I give it a rating of 9/10. Almost the entire film is very enjoyable. You have to watch it because you won't regret it!💙
