๐Young Royals is a series from Sweden with the genres Romance, Friendship, Royal Family, Youth, and Growth. This series aired on Netflix on July 1, 2021, and currently has 3 seasons, all of which are as interesting as the first season. It tells the story of Prince Wilhelm, the second son of one of the Swedish royal families. He became the main heir in his family after the older brother he loved so much died in a car accident. Therefore, his image and good name as a child of the royal family must be clean and maintained. He was forced to transfer to the prestigious boarding school, Hillerska High School because he was involved in a fighting scandal at a club. Later, he meets Simon, a scholarship student at the school, and falls in love. Young Royals are played by a line of charming and talented actors, such as Edvin Ryding as Prince Wilhelm, Omar Rudberg as Simon, Malte Gardinger as August (Willhelm's cousin), Frida Argento as Sara (Simon's sister), and Nikita Uggla as Felice (Wilhelm's best friend).

๐At first, Wilhelm was fascinated by Simon who was part of the school choir, then their friendship became closer and more passionate, and they fell in love, however, their relationship did not run smoothly because of the antagonist, August aka Wilhelm's cousin who makes Simon and Wilhelm's relationship complicated because he captures their private moments and posts them online.
๐Simon and Wilhelm's relationship becomes distant, and misunderstandings occur. Wilhelm's character is complicated because he has to balance his life as the son of a prominent royal family and his personal desires (including his love life). In repairing the broken relationship between Simon and Wilhelm, they finally rebuilt their relationship with a sense of trust and will always communicate and be open with each other. The focus of this series is not only on Simon and Wilhelm, but also tells the story of Felice and her relationship with August, and with Sara (Simon's sister), who is also her friend who lives a simple and poor life. Felice then broke up with August because of a problem and he was indeed a toxic person, he was rude and cunning. As well as being stubborn and very cruel to weak people at school, especially scholarship students.
๐Apart from that, Sara's behavior and lifestyle have changed to become like a 'rich girl' because she is friends with Felice and others from rich families. She may have been influenced by the hedonistic lifestyle of her friends. Then, Sara also ends up dating August, who incidentally is Felice's ex. Indeed, this story is quite complicated, but it is interesting because it discusses the relationship between a noble family and ordinary people at a prestigious school.

๐Young Royals series is even more exciting and interesting when they find out who the perpetrator who captured the private video is, the bastard August. They seemed to solve a puzzle to reveal that August was guilty, with Felice finding a flaw in the video that August's phone camera also had.
๐What August did to Wilhelm was probably because he was jealous and wanted to be like him. However, it could also be because August felt betrayed as a family, where they were cousins from the royal family, and Wilhelm preferred to be with Simon, a guy from the lower class. In addition, August also felt annoyed with Simon, who he thought was only using a young royal, Wille, to gain influence. Actually, August's thoughts and prejudices are correct, because for example, we "as a royal family" have to maintain our good image and name so as not to be seen as bad, in which case he sees that Wille is not too "princely" considering his attitude which has shortcomings. However, the way August used was wrong, and actually harmed Wille and Simon. August's character is indeed quite complicated, but that's good because it can bring out many different perspectives from the audience and let them have opinions about it.
๐Young Royal series is very good and I enjoy it. It features a unique story about a young royal who is suddenly transferred to a prestigious boarding school, and following the journey of his love story, he discovers his true self and identity, solves his problems, and adapts to his new life. However, it should be noted that this series is not appropriate for children under 18 because there are several mature and intense scenes. But overall this story is very interesting and good, moreover, the visuals from the characters are super great. So, for children under age, wait until the time is right to watch this series yeah... XO.

It is set in the Joseon Dynasty. The main characters are played by Choi Jin Hyuk as Jang Bong Hwan, Shin Hye Sun as Queen Cheorin or Kim So Yong, Kim Jung Hyun as King Cheoljong, Seol In Ah as Jo Hwajin, and Na In Woo as Kim Byeong (So Yong's cousin). The story revolves around Jang Bong Hwan, a famous chef in the modern era whose body was mysteriously swapped with a queen in the Joseon Era.
๐ญIt starts with Jang Bong Hwan accidentally jumping from his apartment into the swimming pool and he sees the vague figure of a woman dressed in Joseon-era clothing in the swimming pool. Then, he woke up in the body of a woman in ancient times, that woman was Queen Cheorin also known as Kim So Yong. Initially, he is skeptical of this sudden change but gradually he can adapt to his new body. The palace ladies are surprised to see Queen Cheorin suddenly act like a man and cook modern dishes, which is due to Jang Bong Hwan's presence in her body.
๐คดOn the other hand, King Cheoljong was a king who had good intentions to help his people, but, hid his true identity. Even though he is good, King Cheoljong apparently has a mysterious side and he is considered a weak king. It turns out he has a secret that only Queen Cheorin knows. Jang Bong Hwan then used this opportunity to help King Cheoljong and Queen Cheorin fight for justice amidst the feud between the powerful parties in the palace.

๐As time goes by, Jang Bong Hwan and Kim So Yong finally help each other and find a new meaning in life. And what makes it complicated is that Jang Bong Hwan is starting to get used to being Queen Cheorin and starting to like King Cheoljong, and vice versa.

๐This love story becomes even more exciting amidst the many problems in the palace. Like King Cheoljong who is still in love with Jo Hwajin, his ex and slave child. Apart from that, Kim Byeong experiences unrequited love for Queen Cheorin. However, the real Cheorin only likes her husband, King Cheoljong. So, yeah, this is a pretty complicated love story. And happily, finally, King Cheoljong was able to start loving his wife, Queen Cheorin again and have a child.
๐Mr Queen is a very enjoyable drama and very good to watch. This drama changed my perspective about boring Sageuk dramas. But it turns out it's not boring at all, this is the first Sageuk drama I watched and I really enjoyed it. Apart from the complicated royal story, this shows a lot of the humorous side of Queen Cheorin, whose body is the spirit of Bong Hwan, and the touching story between Cheorin and Cheoljong.
๐Maybe according to some people, Mr. Queen contains a slightly controversial element, namely LGBT because it features a man in Queen Cheorin's body falling in love with the king. However, I don't think that's the right thing because what is highlighted is the love story of the Queen and King. That's just a step forward to it, after all, at the end of the drama, Queen Cheorin's real soul re-enters her body and has a romance with King Cheoljong. Jang Bong Hwan returns to his modern life after recovering from his coma. So, it's still safe to watch. This is just my opinion, moreover, this is still debated by some people. On the other hand, Shin Hye Sun and Kim Jung Hyun are very fit to be paired as the best Kdrama actors.

The Gifted is a Thai series that tells about students who have supernatural powers, therefore, it is set in a high school. This series was produced by the large Thai agency GMMTV and aired in 2018. It has fantasy, sci-fi, horror, supernatural, and mystery genres. The Gifted can be watched for free on the official GMMTV YouTube channel. Apart from the good and intriguing story, the series is very interesting because it is played by famous actors such as Nanon as Pang, Chimon as Wave, Jane as Claire, Sing Harit as Ohm, Gun Atthaphan as Punn, the twin brothers JJ Chayakorn as Jack and Aj Chayapol as Joe, Fiat Pattadon as Korn, Puimek as Mon, and Lilly as Namtarn.
So, The Gifted is set in Ritdha High School which has a class placement classification system based on intelligence. Of course, each class has different facilities ranging from toilets, wifi, dorm rooms, and so on. They have a superior program, Gifted, where students think it is a special class that requires more ability to enter. Therefore, students compete to study hard to pass that 'special' class entrance exam, including Pang, an ordinary student. However, it turns out that the exam is not assessed based on academic intelligence, but rather through special sound waves that can be heard by certain students.
This series has its own charm because it tells the story of students in the Gifted program having different supernatural powers and an interesting journey when they want to reveal the dark secret of Ritdha High School behind the Gifted program which makes the audience interested and curious about the next plot. Pang has the power to control people's minds through physical touch; Wave has mathematical and computer hacking abilities; Claire can see someone's feelings such as the color red indicating anger, etc.; Namtarn can see the past if she touches a related object; Ohm can teleport; Punn can duplicate other people's skills; Korn can not sleep for days, Joe and Jack have intelligence in chemistry and can connect with each other, and Mon also has physical strength in the form of agility, and masters various martial arts.
They are in the top class at school, which makes them mutually ambitious to be the best and not want to be rivaled. Even though they look compact and together, it turns out they don't like each other and attack each other. However, some time passed, they felt something was wrong at school and finally they united to reveal the dark secret of their school.
As for me.. This series is very good because it presents unusual genres in the world of Thai series such as supernatural and magic. Apart from that, the plot is also not long-winded and the actors play their characters well, the chemistry is also strong as well. It's not surprising that their chemistry is good because behind the scenes they often bond with each other through variety shows or game shows held by their agency and will also promote their latest series.
Additionally, because this drama is so popular that 96% of Google users like The Gifted, it has a sequel entitled The Gifted Graduation which aired in 2020 where it has a more interesting plot and is full of plot twists. 20th Century Girl (20์ธ๊ธฐ ์๋ ) is a Korean film that airs on the Netflix platform on October 21, 2022. It is a story about coming-of-age and a fun love triangle set in the late 90s. It was played by Kim Yoo Jung (Na Bora), Byeon Woo Seok (Poong Woonho), and Park Jung Woo (Baek Hyunjin). It starts by showing the friendship between Na Bora and Yeondu, where Yeondu has to leave Korea and go to the US to have heart surgery, and assigns Bora to spy on and find information about the man Yeondu has a crush on, Baek Hyunjin.
Then, Bora started to find out about Hyunjin for the sake of her friend, which then made Bora close to Hyunjin and Woonho, his friend—and started a love triangle. Hyunjin came to like Bora and thought that she liked him because she was always looking for information about him, but it turned out that Bora didn't like him, she actually liked Woonho. Also, it turns out Woonho has also liked her all this time.
